Privacy Policy
My privacy policy is real simple. I simply do not share any information regarding any of my clients. I am a very simple man and selling or sharing contact or other information related to people I do business with makes absolutely no sense. I mean like; work hard to build a repeat business with clients and then sell
the list to potential competitors?
Ethics Policy
My ethics policy is real simple. I simply declare all of my business income and pay my own taxes due. I do not mark up parts (because I hate the tax paperwork to track all that stuff, it is a no-fun way to make more money). Using customer furnished parts or even in-house labor saves you money and lets me keep having fun doing your work instead of fetching parts. I do have personal ethics, but do not inflict them on clients. Also, I do not always agree with ethics of others. When this rare event happens where a client’s ethics could conflict with my own I reserve the right to politely decline that particular project, or at least any portions of it which pose a probable conflict. You can be assured that I will always be
graceful and flexible in these rare cases.
Warranty Policy
Hobby items are excluded from warranty. My business work is largely custom & experimental with parts warranted by manufacturers. I warranty my labor for a period of 90 days after turn-on and replace factory furnished warranty parts at no charge during this period. After 90 days I replace factory warranted parts at my hourly rate. I am very flexible regarding component failures just after my warranty period.
