Working alone since 1986 has allowed me many insights and discoveries of better ways of doing things. Many of my discoveries are simply beyond the capabilities of a sole proprietorship, but can easily be integrated into manufacturing capabilities of existing companies. The ongoing list below highlights some of the more interesting discoveries. I have on occasion been tasked by larger companies to invent on demand. If any of my own discoveries below or items your company
wants to explore on the cheap are on your mind we can enter into a mutually secure discussion.
Wind & Earthquake Resistant roofing system-This system is not only easy to fabricate & install from existing low-cost materials in impoverished areas with low skilled workers & simple hand tools, but maintains a delightfully and traditionally pleasant village appearance. It is also immune to ravages of moisture & sunlight degradation. Earthquake and typhoon prone nations like China, Pakistan and Haiti come to mind as places where this system would be useful.
Complementary Roof Gutter system-My gutter system is indestructible and is easily cleaned of debris from ground level (even on two story structures). It also can be painted any color to create a nice contrast or match to my roofing system above. Like the roof, it is built from readily available cheap materials and requires no special tools to fabricate and install. This makes both systems practical, useful and simple to do in both developed or developing nations.
Lumber Substitute-In this nation, we are blessed with stewardship over plentiful lumber resources which are more than adequate to meet our current and future needs. However, many developing nations have great need for plentiful wood resources, but little or no forest reserves. I have experimented with wood substitutes made of readily available natural fiber and bonding materials which obtain similar characteristics, strength, workability and beauty of natural wood products. A good location for such an easy to grow and simple to manufacture product is Pakistan, which has little or no forests. Harvest and sub manufacturing would be a natural cottage industry and I have coined the name Paki-Plank and a company name of Paki Bashir. I am open to low-level study of this option with the goal of tooling up local grassroots industries in Pakistan to solve their lumber problem and even export a fine product.
Fuel miserly Personal Heater Devices-I have a series of safe & economical personal survivor heaters that are capable of operating on most any fuel. Simple variations of my system are useful for recreational and sports use. On a more important level, my designs can provide personal survival heat in emergency, military or primitive medical settings. I am open to study of modifying my creations for your unique needs and assistance in manufacturing to your requirements.
Tornado Resistant Device-I have experimented with a device that resists and minimizes structure damage due to the forces of a tornado, and is simple to fabricate & install on conventional structures and is artistically compatible with conventional construction.
